Production on Star Wars: Ahoska has officially started

Another Star Wars series has officially begun production as the first look from the set of the Ahsoka series has been revealed

With Star Wars Celebration 2022 approaching, it has been confirmed that production on Ahsoka, one of the upcoming series based in a galaxy far, far away, has begun. A teaser image from the set of the show was shared on social media, with writer Dave Filoni’s signature hat hung on a chair featuring the show’s logo.

For those who are unaware, Ahsoka is a character originally introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, though she has since appeared in Star Wars: Rebels and most recently in live-action in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

Looking at what we saw of the character’s goals in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka may be chasing after Thrawn in the series following the end of Star Wars: Rebels. Casting rumours may support this, though they have yet to be confirmed.

In terms of the LEGO Group, considering the recent confirmation that Obi-Wan Kenobi is getting at least one LEGO Star Wars set, and rumours that Andor will also be receiving a model later this year, it seems plausible that this series could get a model too.

A release date for the series has not yet been announced. However, while production continues you can at least look forward to the arrival of the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi on May 27. A new trailer for the show was recently revealed, including a look at Darth Vader.
