Rare LEGO Star Wars 75522 Droid Commander polybag returning in April

Fans will have a new opportunity to get the rare polybag, LEGO Star Wars 75522 Droid Commander, in April.

When LEGO Star Wars BOOST 75253 Droid Commander was released last year, LEGO Star Wars 75522 Droid Commander polybag was offered as a promotional freebie. Many fans missed out on the set, which has commanded high aftermarket prices, but it is set to return on April 19.

Fans in Europe and the USA will be able to buy the polybag using their VIP points via the VIP Reward Centre.

Additional rewards are coming to Europe at some point during the month of April.

The latest sweepstake was recently launched with a LEGO Star Wars Maz Kanata minifigure signed by Arti Shah, the actor who stood in for the character on set, also known as a ‘motion capture double’, up for grabs. Entries require VIPs to spend a few points.

Future items that will be available as part of these reward activities will include LEGO Star Wars 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer, signed by the designers, and signed copies of the Star Wars Visual Dictionary.

Three new LEGO Star Wars sets were recently announced and are open for pre-orders now – 75277 Boba Fett Helmet, 75276 Stormtrooper Helmet and 75274 TIE Fighter Pilot Helmet.
