Rumoured LEGO Lord of the Rings set gets a possible name

According to online rumours, the name of the largest LEGO Lord of the Rings set rumoured for next year reveals what it will focus on.

@leaky_minifigure on Instagram and Stonewars both reported that the name of the rumoured set would be 10316 Rivendell, suggesting that the direct-to-consumer set would focus on the beautiful Elvish city.

Nestled in a peaceful valley, Rivendell plays sanctuary to a number of parties during the span of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, playing host to both Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, plus their friends from a range of Middle Earth species. It’s hidden in the foothills of the Misty Mountains and is notably the home of Lord Elrond for much of the span of the films.

If the set also comes with minifigures, this could also mean we get updated versions of Elvish minifigures. With the recent inclusion of pointy-eared Namor in 76213 Marvel King Namor’s Throne Room, this could mean we get more variations of similar minifigures.
