Fresh rumours reveal possible names for LEGO Speed Champions 2023 sets

A new rumour offers possible names for LEGO Speed Champions’ first wave in 2023 — and confirms a change that we already expected was on the cards.

According to @awesome_brick2008, the three as yet unnamed LEGO Speed Champions sets will be based on the Ferrari 812 Competizione, the Pagani Utopia, and the McLaren F1 LM and McLaren Solus GT, two cars from different eras combined into one set.

This goes further towards our theory about LEGO Speed Champions changing gears in 2023 and moving away from multi-car sets. Indeed, if these set names are to be believed, just one of the rumoured five sets will include two cars. The price and piece counts are also in line with this idea.

Next year will also mark the first time that the theme’s Q1 wave of cars will be split across two release dates. 76917 Fast & Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 will reportedly release on January 1, 2023, with the rest apparently following two months later on March 1.
