Rumours surface of new LEGO Lord of the Rings BrickHeadz set

Murmurs become rumblings as more rumours emerge around new LEGO Lord of the Rings sets for 2023. Fans of heroes and half-Elves, pay attention.

As the Amazon Prime TV series, The Rings of Power, continues to attract viewers, those that sit in the middle of the LEGO / Tolkien Venn diagram hope that the rumours of new LOTR sets comes to pass. We’ve already seen the suggestion of a pair of BrickHeadz sets, and a possible €500 flagship set which have had fans salivating like a Balrog at a buffet.

Now a new rumour has emerged of another BrickHeadz set. According to Stonewars, joining the (rumoured, don’t forget) line up of Frodo & Gollum and Gandalf and the Balrog, will be a twin pack of Arwen and Aragorn.

Aragorn, introduced to readers (and Hobbits) as the mysterious Strider, was revealed to the heir of Isildur. Arwen, meanwhile, was the daughter of Elrond, who forbade her to marry Aragorn unless he became King of Gondor.  Spoiler alert: He does and they do.

The new BrickHeadz is alleged to have the designation 40632 Aragorn and Arwen, and is slated for release in January, 2023. While there are no more details available as yet, a growing list of Lord of the Rings inspired sets bodes well for a return to LEGO Middle Earth after a gap of nearly 10 years.

Here’s a roundup of what we (think we) know, so far.

Don’t start packing for a trip to Mount Doom just yet, as this is still all speculation, but keep your fingers crossed for an official announcement from the LEGO Group in the coming months.
