Get £20 / €20 off LEGO 10302 Optimus Prime at LEGO.com

LEGO fans can score a rare £20 / €20 discount on 10302 Optimus Prime, thanks to a new offer in LEGO.com’s VIP rewards programme.

For serious LEGO builders, the LEGO VIP programme is a friend indeed. By signing up to the programme, LEGO fans can earn VIP points with LEGO.com orders. These can then be redeemed for order discounts, physical rewards and other incentives.

Now the VIP programme has given us an unusually generous offer. By spending 100 VIP points, LEGO fans can receive a £20 / €20 discount on 10302 Optimus Prime.

Released in the LEGO Icons theme, 10302 Optimus Prime recreates a beloved character from the Transformers franchise. Despite being made of LEGO, it can transform from a robot to a truck and back again without removing any pieces. It’s also seen a small price increase recently (raising its RRP to £159.99 / $179.99 / €179.99) which makes this kind of discount even more appreciated. The offer joins similar discounts in the LEGO.com VIP rewards centre (accessible by clicking on the blue crown at the top of the LEGO.com homepage). These are available on 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle and 51515 Robot Inventor. Since these are particularly expensive models, their (temporary) price reduction is both welcome and unexpected.
