In the run up to Black Friday, Disney’s official online store is discounting a number of LEGO Disney sets, including one product that’s already retired through official channels.
We can exclusively reveal a trio of sets receiving a tempting 20% discount at shopDisney from tomorrow, November 22. Discounts on the models in question are extremely rare, not least because one of them has technically already disappeared from LEGO.com.
Two of the sets receiving discounts are 71040 The Disney Castle and 43197 The Ice Castle. These are two of the Disney range’s flagship products. The former takes inspiration from the castle at Florida’s Magic Kingdom, while the latter is inspired by the smash-hit Frozen franchise. Each features extensive interior detail and numerous nods to Disney films. 43197 The Ice Castle is also the largest set to include mini-dolls so far.
An even more desirable set, though, may be 71044 Disney Train and Station. A natural companion to 71040 The Disney Castle, this authentic model includes a working train and a splendid station building. It also marks Goofy’s first-ever appearance in LEGO form, and he’s still pretty rare to this day, making this a must-buy for Disney fans.
Although the set has been sold out at LEGO.com for a while, it’s reportedly making a comeback for this shopDisney sale. Coupled with its 20% discount, this may be an opportunity you can’t afford to pass up if you’re yet to buy 71044 Disney Train and Station.
Head on over to shopDisney from Monday, November 22 to see the deals for yourself. Disney is also discounting a number of Star Wars sets by 20% from tomorrow, including 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina. Check out the full list here.
