Second LEGO free gift now available to VIPs at LEGO Store Leicester Square

The Leicester Square LEGO Store’s second free gift to celebrate its grand reopening is now available to VIP members with qualifying purchases.

Following last week’s 40528 LEGO Brand Retail Store, which was given away with all orders of £120 from August 10 through 14, the biggest LEGO Store in the world now has a second freebie exclusively for VIP members. Spend over £75 on anything and everything in-store between today and August 18, and you’ll come away with a copy of 6424688 LEGO Delivery Truck.

This is the first and only time that the VIP-exclusive gift has been available to the public, so it’s definitely one worth making the trip for if you’re a collector of all things meta – not least because its giant yellow panels with the LEGO logo are printed, rather than stickered, and should therefore be pretty useful for builds even beyond this delivery truck.

Given dozens of new sets have just landed on shelves, there should be plenty left at Leicester Square to take you over the required threshold. And if you’re lucky, you might just find a copy of the otherwise-LEGO-House-exclusive 40501 The Wooden Duck – provided there’s any stock left.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
