See LEGO’s Billund Campus gleaming in the snow
A LEGO Group employee has shared some snaps of what the LEGO headquarters on the Billund LEGO Campus looks like in the snow.
The LEGO Billund Campus, in keeping for a company so focused on design, looks great at all times of the year, filled with brick-built sculptures dotted throughout the grounds. In winter, these models remain – capped with snow.
George Gilliatt, Product Designer at the LEGO Group, is known for working on themes like LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Creator and LEGO Classic. He took to Twitter to share some images of what the Campus in Denmark looks like with some wintry weather.
“The LEGO Group Headquarters in Billund looks amazing in the snow!” enthused Billiatt in his tweet. The pictures show an enormous LEGO minifigure, dressed in red and blue, sat on a small slope that has its own dusting of snow. There’s also two shots of some of the Campus’ oversized brick-built ducks, harking back to the very first product that the LEGO Group ever made: a wooden duck.
The Billund Campus is well-known by fans of the company, even sparking the employee-exclusive set, 4000038 LEGO Campus. This is one of the annual sets that the LEGO Group builds especially for its employees, usually around Christmastime.
