Shakespeare’s birthplace will feature in LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham
A build of Shakespeare’s birthplace will be part of the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham’s Miniland.
When the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham opens this summer, the UK’s most famous playwright’s birthplace will be included. The building on Henley Street, in Stratford-upon-Avon was Shakespeare’s birthplace and will be part of the new Miniland attraction. Each Discovery Centre has a miniature LEGO layout based on the local area.
Appropriately, the Stratford-upon-Avon Herald revealed an image of the build. It will be one of 45 models that will form part of the 1.5 million brick Miniland. “The 45 landmarks that will make up our Miniland have been selected as the best representation of our region,” General manager Amy Langham told the newspaper. “Enormous care has gone into this behind the scenes to ensure that the end result will resonate and connect with all of our visitors.”
The LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham is the second such attraction in the UK and will open this summer.
