Six new LEGO sets for March that you might have overlooked

With over 60 new sets launching on March 1, it can be easy to overlook a few models packed with details and value that are available now.

From Star Wars sets based on The Mandalorian to the biggest LEGO Marvel prop recreation yet, March is likely a busy month for many shopping on the official online store. However, there is a selection of builds that may have gone under your radar amid recent rumours, releases and other news.

Here are six new sets that you might have overlooked on March 1:

While 10298 Vespa 125 may have released on March 1 as the latest huge LEGO Creator Expert model, a smaller alternative was also made available to Vespa fanatics on a budget. 40517 Vespa (review) also recreates the classic scooter but in a red colour scheme and at a more affordable price range – £8.99 / $9.99 / €9.99.

3 – 31126 Supersonic-jet

When it comes to display-worthy sets, LEGO Creator’s 3-in-1 range may not be top of your list apart from a few nostalgic creations. However, one of the latest models in the theme includes a stand designed for posing 31126 Supersonic-jet as if it was flying through the sky

4 – 71764 Ninja Training Center

LEGO NINJAGO’s first wave for 2022 is not focused on a brand new chapter of the theme but is designed to introduce a younger generation to NINJAGO before the second half of the year. This allowed the design team to be especially creative when it came to the debut range of 2022 sets, including 71767 Ninja Dojo Temple. Intended as an expansion to the latest ninja base is 71764 Ninja Training Center, allowing you to form a complete campus with plenty of obstacles for training. It also comes with one of the new spinner elements for Zane and a collectable banner.

5 – 76399 Hogwarts Magical Trunk

LEGO Harry Potter is over 20 years old now and for many, that may mean that a sizable recreation of Hogwarts is complete. To help populate your version of the school, 76399 Hogwarts Magical Trunk includes numerous options for creating custom minifigures with uniforms for all four houses, as well as additional accessories that can be stored in the lockable trunk.

6 – 42140 App-Controlled Transformation Vehicle

Wrapping up the list is another Technic vehicle compatible with the free CONTROL+ app. The Bluetooth software is the LEGO Group’s latest tactic to feature remote-control functions in their Technic sets. What sets 42140 App-Controlled Transformation Vehicle apart though is its flipping feature which holds a second snow-trekking vehicle.
