Official look at Spider-Man: No Way Home suit showcases potential for LEGO minifigure

Concept art for a suit from the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home offers a look at the potential for more LEGO Marvel minifigures based on the film.

Spider-Man: No Way Home was released at the end of 2021 and has gone on to become the biggest movie of last year with more than $1 billion at the box office.

While the film is available to watch in cinemas around the world, it has yet to receive a home release, meaning there may be some who have yet to watch it. With that in mind, be aware that this article will discuss spoilers for the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In the final moments of the film, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, not to be confused with Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker or Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker is forced to sacrifice his personal life in favour of his superhero alter-ego, embracing the identity with a brand new suit.

Head of Visual Development for Marvel Studios Ryan Meinerding has shared a look at concept art for this suit on Instagram, allowing us to investigate the costume more closely than we could while Spider-Man was swinging around New York.

Reflective material is used for the blue areas of the suit while the angular Spider-Man logo on his chest has now changed to closely resemble the one used in Tobey Maguire’s portrayal of the character.

Considering the box office success of the movie and rumours of more models based on the film, the LEGO Group might remake this suit as a minifigure in either a future Spider-Man: No Way Home set, or even one based on any upcoming movies featuring the character – of which three have been confirmed by a producer.

Before that possibility, a recent range of Marvel builds from 2021 included 76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop as well as another set with a minifigure from the film, 76195 Spider-Man’s Drone Duel.
