The producer of Spider-Man: No Way Home has confirmed that more Marvel Studios films with Tom Holland are planned to form another trilogy.
In an interview with Fandango, producer Amy Pascal has confirmed that more Marvel Studios Spider-Man films are coming including Tom Holland but notes that Spider-Man: No Way Home is the end of the trilogy that started in Homecoming.
“This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – this is not the last Spider-Man movie,” explained Amy Pascal. “We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel, it just isn’t part of… we’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”
This follows comments from Tom Holland with GQ where he stated that to him, playing Spider-Man after he turned 30 meant he was doing something wrong. With the actor being 25, this either means that those comments may not be entirely reflective of current contract agreements or that the next trilogy of Spider-Man MCU movies is due to release within the next five years. It may be that a contract has been drafted since those comments were made.
When it comes to LEGO sets, we’ve received a wave of LEGO sets for each of three Spider-Man Marvel Studios released so far, with the latest having one dedicated model – 76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop – and another with a minifigure inspired by the film – 76195 Spider-Man’s Drone Duel.
This trend of LEGO Spider-Man models and confirmation that at least three more movies with the Web-Slinger in the MCU are coming may mean that there are plenty more builds based on Tom Holland’s to expect, though this hasn’t been confirmed by the LEGO Group.
Spider-Man: No Way Home releases in just over two weeks from December 15 in the UK or December 17 in the US.
