New LEGO Star Wars 501st Legion battle pack rumoured for 2023

Following the release of the fan-driven LEGO Star Wars 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers in 2020, there’s rumoured to be a new version in 2023.

In 2020, requests from fans led to the LEGO Group releasing 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers, bringing the fan-favourite troopers into an accessible minifigure-focused model to build out an army. If rumours are to be believed, a sequel to this set might be on the way in 2023.

According to a new 2023 rumour list from Promobricks, 75345 501st Battle Pack is said to be coming on January 1 for €19.99.

It’s reported that this set will include a sniper, two heavy’s and a commander, acting as more of a specialist’s pack than a normal trooper pack. This could help differentiate it for those who have already ordered multiple copies of 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers

As for what models are included, nothing has been rumoured other than a Dwarf Spider droid, but with 119 reported pieces, there may not be anything else particularly substantial like with the walker and speeder in the 2020 set.

We’ll have to wait and see if these rumours are accurate but in the meantime, 75280 501st Clone Troopers will remain available until the end of 2022 when the set will retire.
