With the first season of Star Wars: Andor releasing tomorrow, it’s been revealed that you shouldn’t expect the second part for a couple of years.
“I have two more years to go,” Gilroy told The Wrap. “We start shooting in November on part two. And I don’t know if … Our past pattern was two years, but I mean, I’ll be on… We’ll shoot from November to August. And then our post[-production] last time was about a year.”
To summarise, that means we may see the second season of Andor on Disney+ at some point in 2024 as long as it sticks to a similar schedule as the first part. This could pair well with the story taking place over five years as we’ll be waiting a similarly lengthy period to see the remainder of the story.
Following The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor also has a LEGO Star Wars set in the form of 75338 Ambush on Ferrix. The model is available now for £69.99 / $69.99 / €79.99 with three minifigures and you can read our in-depth review to see what awaits you in the build
