Star Wars: The Mandalorian poster and costume revealed

The poster artwork for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and the titular character’s costume have been unveiled at the D23 convention in California.

Anaheim, California, USA is currently hosting the official Disney convention, D23 across the road from Disneyland. LEGO Star Wars fans will be keen to see that to coincide with the event, StarWars.com has revealed the poster art for The Mandalorian, the live action series that will be available on the Disney+ streaming service when it launches later this year.

The poster art depicts the Mandalorian, a lone mercenary, walking away from his ship against a sunset. It is an evocative image reminiscent of the Western films that inspired George Lucas to introduce Boba Fett to the saga 40 years ago.

As well as the new poster, the costume that lead actor Pedro Pascal will wear on-screen is on display at the event. The Star Wars Underworld is at the event and has shared this first clear look at the outfit.

Getting a better look at the Mandalorian’s costume will allow LEGO fans to imagine how this could be distilled down into a minifigure, and potentially other formats such as BrickHeadz and constraction.
