Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker midnight screenings tonight

The first fans will see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker tonight, as midnight screenings take place when December 18 becomes December 19.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, billed as the final chapter in the Skywalker saga, is released on December 19. The very first screenings will take place tonight at midnight, or 0.01am for the pedantic. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams and reunites Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Issac, while Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams and Ian McDiarmid return to their long-running roles.

While little about the plot has been revealed, a selection of LEGO Star Wars sets have been released to tie into The Rise of Skywalker:
