Swiss Coop pre-Christmas LEGO bargains

Well, you can tell it is coming up to Christmas as toys are being advertised more frequently than normal. Migros in Switzerland got the march on pre-Xmas buy’s with their 30% off deals a few weeks back. Now the Coop chain (including Interdiscount which is the equivalent of Currys/PC World) have decided to get in on the act.

Only a few selected highlights, but represent a decent save for Swiss customers over Shop@Home retail prices. TBH, Coop are not the greatest at stocking LEGO products – their range is now where near as good as a Migros Superstore. BUT if there are some sets you are after, now is the time to get them with the discount at an instant.

Promotion will last for about one week before they revert to normal RRP.

My name is Keith and I am a AFOL. Currently an expat living out in Basel, CH, but have a firm footing back in the UK when time permits.

I have had had Lego ever since I can remember - and only until my wee one came along have I re-kindled the flame for building again.

I also run matchbox1-75.co.uk, a resource site for the 1-75 series of miniatures by Matchbox.

There are only three themes that I am get/collect (finances permitting) - City, Creator (Advanced and Expert) as well as the classic Star Wars sets from Eps IV to VI (anything else does not exist). I also keep an eye in Europe with ample chance to see how France, Germany and Switzerland market and offer LEGO.
