To celebrate the 50th Earth Day, NASA and the LEGO Group have launched the Build a Planet challenge. Given that activity cannot take place in public, the LEGO Group is running the Let’s Build Together campaign and NASA is running the Earth Day at Home campaign. To celebrate the 50th Earth Day, the two initiatives have come together for the Build a Planet one day challenge. Fans are encouraged to build their own LEGO planet and share it on social media. "We’ve teamed up with NASA Earth to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Humanity’s journey beyond Earth has allowed us to better understand our own planet. This knowledge will help shape future exploration of new places in our solar system too,” the LEGO Group said on Facebook.
