LEGO Technic summer 2022 sets arrive on LEGO.com following catalogue reveal

Following their initial reveal in an official catalogue, the two LEGO Technic summer 2022 sets have now been added to the instructions database.

Both 42144 Material Handler and 42145 Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter have appeared on the instructions section of LEGO.com, suggesting that an official announcement for them is imminent. We’ve already seen images for these sets thanks to the Taiwan catalogue, though no additional pictures are provided on their listings.

The catalogue stated that they would release in August and the instructions listings feature the launch year of 2022, so even if details have been lost in translation, we can expect them to arrive later this year.

It also confirms that 42144 is named Material Handler rather than the rumoured name of Waste Handler. Both feature the usual bells and whistles that you might expect from LEGO Technic, and we’ll likely know about the specifics when they are officially announced.

The LEGO Group has already revealed a few upcoming sets as June 2022 starts, including 76223 Nano Gauntlet and 43205 Ultimate Adventure Castle, so it could be that these new Technic models will be showcased in full soon.
