The Great Brick Adventure arrives in Liverpool today

A LEGO exhibition, The Great Brick Adventure, launches in Liverpool, UK, today and will run for the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend.

The team behind BRICKLIVE is bringing The Great Brick Adventure to the Exhibition Centre Liverpool. Fans of the brick can enjoy a safari themed area and a mythical beasts themed area showing impressive models build from thousands of LEGO elements. Life-sized animals include elephants and hippos, while mythical characters include Hercules and a Cyclops.

A Robot Wars style activity gives guests the chance to see LEGO mechanoids battle in an arena to see which of the unique brick-bots will reign supreme. Brick Pits will allow the young, and young at heart, to get stuck into some LEGO building.

Attendees will also get the opportunity to see the Big LEGO Brick Hospital on display, which is being constructed using charity donations to raise funds for a new specialist cancer care centre.

“The Great Brick Adventure is a fantastic day out for all the family,” said Ben Williams, commercial director of The ACC Liverpool Group, which includes Exhibition Centre Liverpool. “It is the perfect activity for a bank holiday with lots of fun interactive areas where kids, and of course adults, of all ages can get involved.”

Liverpudlian LEGO aficionados can enjoy the experience until Monday, August 27. Each day, the event is open from 10.00am until 6.00pm, with tickets available to book at the venue’s official website priced at £13.95 for adults and £11.95 for children.
