The LEGO Batman Movie Batsuit Build – Hangers

Batman’s impressive wardrobe is given a scale like never before in The LEGO Batman Movie, which inspired this build project to re-create the character’s impressive Batsuit rack with real LEGO bricks

Next up in our series of Batsuit rack builds are the hangers. These are designed to attach directly to the conveyor belt that we will be building. In the film these are very slim, constructed mostly of bars and clips – they rely on Friends handlebar pieces in black which are extremely rare. I attempted to utilise more common parts for my build – these are the parts you will need:

The base and sides are constructed as follows:

The top is what allows the hanger to connect to the conveyor and holds the nameplate. In the film the suits are identified by title and barcode – I created my own stickers to mimic this. These can be downloaded here, to print and add to your own build.

Some of the Batsuits contain extra components that won’t fit in the space on the rack. These can be attached to the bracket on the back.
