The LEGO Batman Movie reaches £148 million in USA

The LEGO Batman Movie now sits in fourth place on the USA box office chart, having taken £148 million in total domestically. The second big-screen animated LEGO adventure continues its strong performance, with Logan and Get Out now sitting in the first and second spots, respectively.

Collider reports the positive numbers from North America, which is a very different story to the film’s opening in China. In its opening day there, Forbes report that The LEGO Batman Movie earned a mere $600,000 – which means that the important territory for worldwide box office will not be much of a contributor to the movie’s haul.
