The LEGO Group belatedly announces Powerpuff Girl sets
The LEGO Group has shared images of the new Powerpuff Girl minifigures on social media, giving a first official look at the new products.
Despite sharing information about – or some might say, ‘announcing’ – the new LEGO Powerpuff Girls theme during the International Toy Fair, the LEGO Group has announced the sets again, this time on social media.
The official Twitter account has shared these images of the characters as minifigures, revealing what they will look like in the two sets that are due for release in June. 41287 Bubbles’ Playground Showdown and 41288 Mojo Jojo Strikes will spread the characters across both sets, so those who want the full theme will need to buy both.
The LEGO Powerpuff Girls theme is expected to launch on June 1, 2018.
