The LEGO Group builds the impossible with drivable Technic Bugatti Chiron

The impossible has been achieved, with the LEGO Group revealing a drivable car built from LEGO Technic elements.

After last week’s tease, the LEGO Group have revealed a mind-blowing creation – a fully working, drivable LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron.

A few months ago, the LEGO Group partnered with Bugatti to release LEGO Technic 42083 Bugatti Chiron, an impressive Technic set. But nothing could have prepared fans for what was coming next, with the talented builders at the company putting together a working, driving, full size Bugatti Chiron. The car, made up of 90% LEGO pieces, can drive at speeds of 20 km per hour.

It uses over 1 million LEGO Technic elements, is powered by 2,304 Power Functions motors, and weighs in at 1,500kg. Technic fans should watch out for the new trans pieces turning up in upcoming sets, when they have finished marvelling at this incredible creation.
