The LEGO Movie 2 70840 Welcome to Apocalypseburg! retiring in December

A list of LEGO sets expected to retire includes the enormous The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part 70840 Welcome to Apocalypseburg! set, which was only released at the beginning of the year.

Some modern sets have very short life spans, as will be the case with The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part 70840 Welcome to Apocalypseburg! (review). The 3,178 piece set is on a list of sets expected to retire this year that has been shared by The Brick Fan. Those looking to own the impressive centrepiece model should consider placing an order before it is discontinued.

70824 Introducing Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi
70825 Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi’s Build Whatever Box!

70835 Rex’s Rexplorer
70837 Shimmer & Shine Sparkle Spa

Bear in mind that this list is reported in good faith, there is always the possibility that some sets may sell out sooner or may stay in stock longer than expected. It is a useful guide though for those debating what sets to purchase during the remainder of 2019.
