The LEGO Movie 2: Emmet’s Guide to Being Awesome-r comes with Emmet minifigure

A new book that will be released next year, The LEGO Movie 2: Emmet’s Guide to Being Awesome-r, will come with an Emmet minifigure.

With the release of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part next year, there will be a whole host of books to support the new film. One will The LEGO Movie 2: Emmet’s Guide to Being Awesome-r, which The Brick Fan reports has an updated Amazon listing. It turns out that an Emmet minifigure will come mounted to the book’s cover.

The minifigure looks to be a standard Emmet, as will be found in a number of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part sets. So far, three products from the upcoming animated film have been announced – 70829 Emmet and Lucy’s Escape Buggy, 70827 Ultrakatty & Warrior Lucy! and 70830 Sweet Mayhem’s Systar Starship.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller, writers and producers on the feature, took to the stage st San Diego Comic Con in July to share a little about the movie. “It’s five years later and the war between the aliens and the Brickburgians has gone on now, Bricksburg has become Apocalypsburg and has become a heckish place to live,” Miller explained, setting the sequel scene. “Hardcore, this movie’s hardcore.”

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part will be released in February 2019.
