The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part talent turns out for the world premiere

The creatives behind the film walked the blue carpet at the world premiere of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.

On Saturday, February 6, the Westwood Village Theatre in Los Angeles, California, USA played host to the world premiere of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. Stars including Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks attended along with director Mike Mitchell, co-director Trisha Gum and Executive Producer Matthew Ashton.

The official Twitter account for The LEGO Movie 2 shared a whole hot of photograph from the premiere, which was attended by Chris Pratt (Emmet), Elizabeth Banks (Lucy), Will Arnett (Batman), Tiffany Haddish (Queen Whatevra), Alison Brie (Unikitty), Charlie Day (Benny), Stephanie Beatriz (General Mayhem) and Maya Rudolph (Finn’s mother). Phil Lord and Chris Miller, writers and producers on the film, also attended – as did Jason Momoa, who reprises his Aquaman role in a fun cameo.

“When Chris and Phil came to me, I thought they shouldn’t make a sequel because I love the first one. I’m such a huge fan of the first one,” Director Mike Mitchell told Hollywood Reporter as he walked the blue carpet. “And then we started talking about the story, it was such a great idea that I was like, ‘I have to be a part of this!’ It just took the first movie and it expanded everything that I loved about the movie into this one, so the biggest challenge became the most fun.”
