The LEGO Movie Land coming to LEGOLAND parks in 2019

The LEGO Movie Land will be coming to LEGOLAND theme parks, with the first land expected to open in 2019.

To coincide with the release of The LEGO Movie Sequel in 2019, The LEGO Movie Land will begin to open at LEGOLAND destinations. Merlin Entertainments confirmed to investors that a deal has been signed with Warner Bros. to open The LEGO Movie Land in all LEGOLAND parks.

Although the first parks to get the new land will see it open in 2019, it may take a few years to spread to every LEGOLAND around the world. The highly themed NINJAGO area opened at multiple theme parks over the past few years, offering an immersive experience closely tied to the long running theme. Although details are scarce at present, it is likely that The LEGO Movie Land will seek to reach that same level of quality.

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie is out on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on February 12 in the UK. The LEGO Movie Sequel is set for a February 2019 release.
