The LEGO Movie Sequel Heading to LEGOLAND

Everything will once again be awesome in 2016 with the first ‘sequel’ to The LEGO Movie hitting screens at LEGOLAND Resorts and Discovery Centers across the globe. The snappily named The LEGO Movie 4D – A New Adventure will premiere at the LEGOLAND Florida Resort in January 2016 before appearing at parks and centers worldwide. The LEGO Movie 4D – A New Adventure will see stars of the original movie reprise their roles including Elizabeth Banks as Wildstyle, Alison Brie as Unikitty, Nick Offerman as MetalBeard and Charlie Day as Benny. There will also be new villainous character joining the adventure, called Risky Business, who is presumably a relative of Lord Business and will be voiced by Patton Oswalt. There is no mention of Chris Pratt returning as Emmet.

Just like current cinematic offerings at LEGOLAND 4D screenings, The LEGO Movie 4D – A New Adventure will make use of physical elements such as wind, water, smoke and special effect. It follows Emmet and his friends who visit theme park world filled with rides based on original The LEGO Movie adventure. Viewers must help the heroes with their very own Master Builder skills to help save them from an super secret evil plot. It’s also co-written and directed by Rob Schrab, who is directing the full LEGO Movie sequel due in 2018.
