The Royal Mint offers LEGO shadow puppet workshop

Attractions around the world are currently finding ways to offer value to guests remotely, with the Royal Mint putting on a LEGO shadow puppet tutorial.

The Royal Mint, located in South Wales, UK, is keeping families occupied with virtual activities in lieu of the usual physical activities that the attraction would offer over the summer months.

Collaborating with Richard ‘Bricks McGee’ Carter, a tutorial on the venue’s YouTube channel shows how to use LEGO elements to make a shadow puppet theatre. As well a bunch of LEGO bricks, a piece of A4 paper and a torch or phone are required to make a shadow theatre.

LEGO.com recently launched 11009 Bricks and Lights, which is also a LEGO take on a shadow theatre.

Other online activities from the Royal Mint include Paddington’s Adventure at the Tower of London, Knight School and Spy School.
