The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks funding is finished

Time is up to pre-order your copy of The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks as the final statistics for how many builders showed interest in the first official book aimed at older fans has been revealed.

The author for the title, Daniel Konstanski, has been releasing regular updates for the book on the LEGO Ideas blog. These include sharing just one of the novel’s many anecdotal secrets and detailing the imagery that can be found within.

The campaign for The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks began in August 2020 and quickly racked up supporters and expanded its rewards, such as offering a prototype piece for builders who pledged enough.

The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks managed to finish its campaign on Unbound with 205% funding, a result that the LEGO Group will no doubt be pleased to see. That total was made up of 3,660 supporters, who will now all find their names in the back of the book. We can only hope that the great interest in the first official book for adult fans entices the LEGO Group to produce more as we’re sure the company has many more stories to tell.

There’s no exact release date for the book just yet, but Author Daniel Konstanski has been on hand to share his progress with the title targeting a 2022 launch.
