Three exclusive minifigures make it into LEGO 76196 Marvel Advent Calendar

The LEGO Group have given three Marvel characters an exclusive festive minifigure makeover for 76196 Marvel Advent Calendar.

With the first images of this year’s advent calendar released, we can see that Thor, Iron Man, and Spider-Man have all donned Christmassy clothing for the special occasion. Minifigure Thor looks close to his appearance in 76169 Thor Mech Armor, but with the addition of a red scarf. Apparently, the holiday season is chillier on earth than it is elsewhere in the Nine Realms.

Iron Man and Spider-Man have bigger changes for their minifigures. Iron Man is wearing a Christmas jumper, complete with a festive version of his arc reactor and armour. Spider-Man is wearing a yellow college jacket, reminiscent of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Oddly though, the LEGO version has green sleeves, whereas the movie version is completely yellow.

There are two other minifigures, Thanos and Black Widow, but it doesn’t seem like there’s anything new with their minifigures. If nothing else, it’s good to see our favourite superheroes have put their grievances aside to make nice with the Mad Titan for the holiday season.

We expect 76196 Marvel Advent Calendar to be available for purchase from September for €29.99, as in previous years. We’ll of course keep you updated on any further information.
