Time’s running out on LEGO’s double VIP points promo

You don’t have long left to secure double VIP points site-wide at LEGO.com, with the latest promo period coming to a close tomorrow.

This is arguably the best time to buy those eye-wateringly expensive LEGO sets you’ve spent the past few months debating whether to invest in, as the current rate of loyalty points is equivalent to 10% cashback against future purchases.

That means you can effectively call it a £65 / $80 / €80 discount on 75192 Millennium Falcon, £27.50 / $30 / €30 off 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens, or a cool £45 / $55 / €50 price drop on 10276 Colosseum. You’ll have to buy more LEGO to realise that saving, but let’s face it: who among us wasn’t planning to do that anyway?

Of course, you don’t have to spend those points purely on discount vouchers. You could instead save them for the next exclusive VIP reward, such as the fifth and final collectible coin, which – going by previous releases – should arrive on May 1. But buying during this promo period is still the fastest and cheapest way to shore up your points, ready to pounce on those incredibly limited rewards.

Double VIP points will be available on everything at LEGO.com until tomorrow, April 20 – and you could do much worse than targeting your spending at some of the best sets expected to retire this year.

You can support the work that Brick Fanatics does by purchasing your LEGO through one of our affiliate links. Thank you!

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
