Toys R Us Germany to offer LEGO Star Wars Solo make and take

May the Fourth will be celebrated at Toys R Us stores in Germany with a LEGO Star Wars mini build.

The LEGO Store may struggle with synergy, offering 40288 BB-8 polybag for the May the Fourth just weeks before Solo: A Star Wars Story lands in cinemas, but Toys R Us in Germany is managing to keep things topical.

On Saturday, May 5, the retailer – that looks like it will survive in Germany – will offer various Star Wars activities including a Millennium Falcon mini-build, Rebelscum reports. Visitors to the store that day will also be able to try out a Star Wars game and participate in a scavenger hunt.

While these promotions have always varied by region, it is less likely than ever that this make and take event will arrive in the UK or US. Thankfully, generous fans usually take a moment to scan the instructions from such events and share them online, so a few Bricklink orders later fans can aquire the build.

In the meantime, Brick Fanatics has provided instructions showing how to build a Micro Millennium Falcon as it appears in Solo: A Star Wars Story – as well as the other four sets based on the upcoming movie.

Solo: A Star Wars Story will be released on May 24. The LEGO Star Wars sets based on the film are available now at shop.LEGO.com.
