Two more LEGO Harry Potter sets rumoured for 2022

Two exclusive LEGO Harry Potter sets are apparently on the way in 2022, potentially in the form of minifigure accessory packs.

Instagram user brick_clicker claims that sets 40560 and 40577 will both be part of the Wizarding World theme’s 2022 line-up. Product numbers beginning ‘40’ typically belong to gifts-with-purchase, such as 40452 Hogwarts Gryffindor Dorms and 40488 Coffee Cart; BrickHeadz, including 40492 La Catrina; and even minifigure accessory packs, like 40511 Minions Kung Fu Training.

That means these two mysterious Harry Potter sets could conceivably fall under any one of those product lines, which is basically all we know about them at this point. And, of course, it’s worth remembering that we don’t even strictly know that much: this is still just a rumour, and could yet prove unfounded come 2022.

If these products do pan out as expected, though, we can at least say that they’ll be exclusive to LEGO.com and LEGO Stores in one way or another – whether sold directly or included as freebies with qualifying purchases.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
