Two new LEGO Ideas fan designs have managed to hit the 10K-votes mark
Where’s Wally/Waldo? and Twilight: Cullen House are the latest two LEGO Ideas fan designs to have managed to hit the 10,000 votes mark.
Successful submissions making their way into the first LEGO Ideas review for 2023 have increased once again, with two new fan designs managing to accrue 10K votes each. Twilight: Cullen House and Where’s Wally/Waldo? have both gained enough supporters to guarantee they’ll at least be considered by the LEGO Ideas team as potential official sets at some future date.
Twilight: Cullen House is the brainchild of LobsterThermidor and is a 2,995-piece design based on the iconic three-storey building featured in the Twilight movies. The modern contemporary house is packed with all sorts of details for fans to spot and includes minifigures of Bella, Edward, Carlisle and Jacob in both human and brick-built werewolf form.
Where’s Wally/Waldo? takes a unique approach to its design, with Iyan Ha having come up with a 2,159-piece microscale model that recreates scenes from Martin Handford’s world-famous books. The six smaller modular builds can also be combined together to form a much larger and more impressive set. Iyan Ha previously managed to qualify for the third LEGO Ideas review in 2022, although Castle Dracula ultimately failed to make it any further in the judging process.
For now, here’s the current updated list of fan designs to have made it into the first LEGO Ideas review for 2023, with the results likely to be announced in October.
