VIDEO: Unboxing LEGO Star Wars 75331 The Razor Crest

Join us for our initial reactions to LEGO Star Wars 75331 The Razor Crest, as we unbox the latest Ultimate Collector Series set for the first time.

A brand new LEGO Star Wars set has just turned up at Brick Fanatics HQ, and it’s a belter: 75331 The Razor Crest is the latest (and potentially greatest) version of The Mandalorian’s first love, weighing in at an enormous 6,187 pieces. You’ll need deep pockets to add it to your own collection – it costs a whopping £519.99 / $599.99 / €599.99 – but is it worth it?

That’s the question we’ll be answering in our review of the ship formerly known as The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport later this week. For now, you can check out our first impressions by watching our latest YouTube video, in which we chart the highs and lows of receiving a parcel from DHL. (Okay, go with it – it’s not just any parcel, after all.)

Cutting open that outer delivery box to reveal 75331 The Razor Crest inside is a pretty magical moment, to be fair – especially when we hadn’t seen the set at all beforehand. There’s something especially novel about seeing a LEGO set for the first time when it’s in your hands. You can live vicariously through our reviewer Dimitri on TikTok, too.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
