Pop culture websites have been eagerly discussing the latest image from The LEGO Batman Movie revealed by Collider, that shows the titular vigilante surrounded by a small selection of his amazing machines that the film looks ready to push to the limit.
Notable in the image are recognisable bat-vehicles such as the Batmobile, tangential bat-vehicles such as the bat-copter and the downright amazingly crazy entries we will get in this film, such as what looks to be a bat-galleon. As with the array of bat-suits shown in the trailer, expect the range of vehicles to be very broad indeed.
The official plot synopsis goes as follows:
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
The film is due for release on February 10, 2017.
