Watch LEGO 10292 Friends Apartments come together in time-lapse build video

You can now watch the newly-revealed LEGO 10292 Friends Apartments come together in a time-lapse video of the 2,048-piece build.

The brand new 18+ set was revealed mere moments ago, but YouTuber and online retailer Brick Depot (which doesn’t share the same embargo restrictions as LEGO Fan Media) has already published an unboxing and speed build video of the latest LEGO model inspired by a sitcom.

Watching a LEGO set come together and actually building it for yourself are two entirely different beasts, but given we’re still more than a week out from 10292 Friends Apartments landing on shelves, this is really as good as it gets for the moment.

We’ll shed a little more light on just how enjoyable that build experience is in person in our in-depth review later this week. For now, hit play on the video above to watch Brick Depot assemble the long-awaited follow-up to LEGO Ideas 21319 Central Perk.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
