We might see the Avatar sets at LEGO CON 2022

The first details for LEGO CON 2022 have been revealed, including what might be confirmation of the Avatar sets at the event.

The official online store has added a landing page for LEGO CON 2022, including a section with what to expect at the event and a selection of copyright notices at the bottom of the page. That list includes a copyright notice for 20th Century Studios, whose lineup of properties includes the Avatar franchise.

It was recently confirmed in an interview that LEGO Avatar sets would be released to coincide with the upcoming Avatar: The Way of Water, covering the first film and the sequel. Now that a copyright notice for the studio behind the film has appeared on the LEGO CON 2022 page, it seems likely that the official reveal of this new theme will arrive at the event.

Also included in the copyright notices are Disney and Pixar for Lightyear, Warner Bros for Harry Potter, Nintendo for Super Mario, Lucasfilm for Star Wars, Marvel and Minecraft, though those themes have already been confirmed in the teaser trailer for LEGO CON 2022.

Listings for Avatar sets included a Banshee build, though the contents of LEGO Avatar have yet to be officially confirmed.

LEGO CON 2022 takes place on June 18 at 5pm in the UK, 12pm in New York and 9am in Los Angeles. Unlike 2021, you’ll be able to tune in via YouTube this time.
