Wedding photographer shoots LEGO ceremony while in lockdown

To deal with the tedium of being stuck indoors during the coronavirus pandemic, a wedding photographer has been shooting a LEGO wedding.

Those spending more time indoors are finding inventive ways to fill their time. Chris Wallace is a wedding photographer who found a way to shoot a ceremony with no human contact – he got two minifigures hitched.

In a series of photographs featuring LEGO minifigures, with tongue in-in-cheek captions (“On the Amazon conveyor belt, their eyes made contact and they fell in love, it was from that moment they knew they would be together forever”), the series of photos sees the minifigures getting married, having family photos and getting romantic snaps of just the couple.

The minifigures are named Florence and Fred. They had an outdoor ceremony with some special guests in attendance, including Chewbacca, Hans Solo and 1980s LEGO spaceman. Harry Potter walked Florence down the aisle and the newlywed couple enjoyed a drone flight after the ceremony.
