What do you do with LEGO brick separators?

Brick Fanatics Magazine cannot solve all of life’s problems, but it can find a way to reduce that pile of LEGO brick separators…

The conundrum that constantly troubles LEGO fans is what to do with all of those brick separators. Everyone who buys sets knows the feeling of opening the box, opening the first bag, and out falls a brick separator. Having a few can be handy – after all, just one would go missing – but no-one needs more than three. And the LEGO Group seem determined to play this practical joke on fans forever, providing unnecessary brick separators at every opportunity.

Brick Fanatics Magazine cannot save fans from drowning in brick separators, but the monthly LEGO publication can show fans what to do with two of them. Every issue, the How To section shares tips, tricks and techniques.

In Issue 10, this section reveals how to build a futuristic speeder bike using two brick separators – with a few colour changes, it could even be built in teal. Following the steps, fans can discover how to make two of their many separators disappear and be replaced with a neat little model. It might even provide inspiration for other builds that can utilise these ubiquitous pieces.
