When is LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga coming?

There is conflicting information about when LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the upcoming LEGO video game, will be released.

No release date has been announced for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but Rebelscum has spotted a couple of conflicting dates. For a brief spell, Gamestop indicated that the game will be released on April 20, before pre-order cases displaying that release were removed.

Another image indicated that the set will be released on November 15, which would make sense as it is around the same that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released last year (and the title went on to exceed sales expectations).

Here is the title’s official synopsis:

Friends and family can dive right into their favourite saga film and play through memorable Star Wars moments, reimagined with LEGO fun and humour. Players can start at the beginning with Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, begin the original trilogy with Star Wars: A New Hope, or launch right into Star Wars: The Last Jedi or Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, both of which are making their LEGO Star Wars game debut. From the desert of Geonosis, to the swamps of Dagobah, to the snowfields of Starkiller Base – players will have the power to revisit any planet, at any time, in any order they wish. The entire galaxy is available to discover and play in.

The game will be released in 2020 on Xbox One X, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC. It is expected to bring new combat controls into the series and the opportunity to free roam.

The last LEGO Star Wars video game was The Force Awakens, released in 2016.
