World record LEGO tower reaches 35m

The Netherlands not only boasts the tallest people in the world, but now also the world record LEGO tower reaching a staggering 35m. The new record breaking attempt took place at LEGO World in Jaarbeurs Utrecht. In all the tower reached 35.16 meters beating the previous record of 35.05 meters set in Milan Italy earlier this year. The question is how much higher can we get a LEGO tower?

The tower, which required 23 truckloads of bricks, was built with the help of children and their families to celebrate LegoWorld Netherland’s 15th anniversary. Constructed started two days ago and was completed on Friday.
