LEGO Ideas is celebrating International Women’s Day in its latest activity, which tasks builders with assembling a tribute to ‘amazing girls and women’.

International Women’s Day falls on March 8, two weeks from today. The occasion celebrates the cultural, political, economic and social achievements of women, and that’s exactly what the LEGO Ideas team wants fans to build in this week’s activity.

As always, it’s a wide-open brief, simply entailing models ‘representing some of the amazing girls and women out there’. You’ve got until March 2 at 9am UK time to get your build in.

Head over to the activity page to see all the details and peruse through the entries so far. There are no prizes on offer for taking part in this Ideas activity, but it’s the perfect excuse to break out your bricks while we’re all still in lockdown (at least in the UK).

If you do have your eyes on a LEGO prize, the Ideas platform is currently running three different contests: one on brickfilms, one on video games, and one themed around Space (that will eventually result in a future gift-with-purchase set).

Last week’s LEGO Ideas activity asked for miniature tree builds. You can check out all the entries by clicking here.
