The BrickLink Designer Program has now given them a second lease of life \u2013&nbsp;but not all of the seven projects in this first round will go into production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only the first five sets to reach a minimum of 3,000 pre-orders will advance from the crowdfunding phase, which means two of these models won\u2019t make the cut. If you\u2019re desperate to see any of them realised as official sets, you\u2019ll want to make sure you\u2019re there as soon as crowdfunding starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery data-id=\"https:\/\/www.brickfanatics.com\/only-5000-copies-of-each-lego-bricklink-designer-program-set-will-be-available-to-pre-order\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">5,000 per set<\/a>, and each user can purchase up to five copies of each model. Supplies are therefore very limited, which means we could be in for another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brickfanatics.com\/as-expected-lego-made-a-complete-hash-of-the-ulysses-space-probe-launch\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.brickfanatics.com\/as-expected-lego-made-a-complete-hash-of-the-ulysses-space-probe-launch\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NASA Ulysses Space Probe debacle<\/a> for the most popular projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An eighth model was originally planned to be in the mix for today&#8217;s round, but ThomasW&#8217;s Mountain View Observatory has been pushed back to a subsequent crowdfunding phase thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brickfanatics.com\/rejected-lego-ideas-set-shelved-at-the-last-minute\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.brickfanatics.com\/rejected-lego-ideas-set-shelved-at-the-last-minute\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8216;unforeseen complexities&#8217;<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first of those three crowdfunding rounds will start regardless at 4pm UK time today, July 1.
