The first round of crowdfunding for the BrickLink Designer Program kicks off later today, with seven rejected LEGO Ideas sets up for pre-order.

Each of the models in the running racked up enough votes to reach the LEGO Ideas review stage, but was ultimately turned down by the LEGO Group. The BrickLink Designer Program has now given them a second lease of life – but not all of the seven projects in this first round will go into production.

Only the first five sets to reach a minimum of 3,000 pre-orders will advance from the crowdfunding phase, which means two of these models won’t make the cut. If you’re desperate to see any of them realised as official sets, you’ll want to make sure you’re there as soon as crowdfunding starts.
