The newest Ideas<\/a> set, 21314 TRON: Legacy, has been officially announced by the LEGO<\/a> Group.<\/p>\n

Last November, the TRON: Legacy project was confirmed<\/a> as the next [geot exclude_country=”United States”]LEGO Ideas<\/a>[\/geot][geot country=”United States”]LEGO Ideas<\/a>[\/geot] build that would become an official release. After teasing it on social media<\/a>, the LEGO<\/a> Group has officially announced 21314 TRON:Legacy and provided a whole bunch of images.<\/p>\n

The set builds two lightcycles and a display base, with three movie authentic minifigures included. Priced at [geot exclude_country=”United States”]\u00a329.99[\/geot] [geot country=”United States”]$34.99[\/geot], the model comprises of 230 pieces. TRON: Legacy was released in 2010, a sequel to the cult sci-fi classic<\/a>, TRON. While it opened to mixed reviews, the movie was praised for its visual effects, unique aesthetic and Daft Punk soundtrack.<\/p>\n

Brothers Drew and Tom designed the original Ideas<\/a> submission. “We went through several models before settling on a design we both liked. We wanted to get the scale of the Light Cycle to minifigure right, and the overall colour scheme had to reflect the Tron feel,” they explained.<\/p>\n
