The Yorkshire Brick Show, organised by niche events management company Stackable Events, will be back in the Wakefield District again this year. The event, which prides itself on being one of the largest exhibitions of LEGO models in the North of England, will be moving to Unity Works in Wakefield city centre after having a successful run at the National Coal Mining Museum for England.

“We are thrilled to be moving to Unity Works this year”, says show organiser and Director of Stackable Events, Richard Lawson. “This community built venue is the perfect place to host the Yorkshire Brick Show this year, as it grows in size and popularity”.

Richard and his company, Stackable Events, have been running the Yorkshire Brick Show since 2014, and have seen the show grow from strength to strength in terms of both size and popularity over the last 2 years, so it was time for a move to a larger and more central venue in the Wakefield District.

Dean Freeman, Head Programmer at Unity Works had this to say, “We are incredibly pleased to be bringing The Yorkshire Brick Show to Unity Works in 2016. We organise such a huge range of events here, but it is these community focussed events that really make me smile. It’s what I believe the building is here for and it’s a privilege to be hosting the event this year. From a personal point of view, I will be dashing back from my holiday in New York to make sure I witness the spectacle!”
