A Dubai jeweller has created a LEGO World Cup trophy worth nearly 400 times the price of the original build, though you won't be able to buy one yourself.
Hemant Karamchandani transformed his son's copy of 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy by embellishing it with more than 900 diamonds.
The standard 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy retails for £159.99 / $199.99 / €179.99, but the diamond-encrusted version is valued at more than £61,000 – around 381 times the price of the official set.

Karamchandani added the diamonds after his 10-year-old son, Yash, struggled to complete the 2,842-piece build, using the sparkling upgrade as motivation to finish it. The Indian jeweller has spent the past 25 years creating bespoke pieces for millionaires and celebrities in Dubai.
However, the one-of-a-kind trophy is not for sale. Instead, Karamchandani hopes to display it at football clubs and schools before either auctioning it for charity or donating it to a museum in Dubai.
That means your chances of getting your hands on this extravagant version are virtually nonexistent. Fortunately, the standard 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy is still available and is currently included in the double LEGO Insiders points promotion.
As a result, you'll receive the equivalent of 10% back in Insiders points on the £159.99 / $199.99 / €179.99 purchase price instead of the usual 5%. That doesn't include the additional 3% back in Brick Credits available to Brick Search Plus members when shopping at LEGO.com through the app.
